“Time heals everything”.

Inspiration can be found in so many places – in the beauty of a mountain, in the eyes of a loved one, in the perfect shape of a snowflake.. Whatever does it for you.

But sometimes it just happens that you lose all the reasons to be inspired. Maybe you failed to succeed at something important, maybe you got rejected from someone or maybe, just maybe – you hurt someone important to you… Enough to make you feel hopeless at times. Especially if that person really means something to you.

What is there to do except say you’re sorry and follow the old “Time heals all woundsImage” saying…

Even if right now it doesn’t really feel like that’s true, at the end of the day the best thing to do is wait…or is it?!

The only thing that is constant is change, said Heraclitus

People, feelings, habits – if change stops, the world stops. Don’t we all live for change? Every day is different from the one before. Every feeling that we get is different from all the other ones we already have. Every person we meet is unique in his own way. Image

We, ourselves, also change constantly. We change our food habits, love habits, friends, our whole lifestyle. And most of the time we don’t even realize it. Hell, some of the time we don’t even want it. But it’s there – like a splinter in our minds, it’s always there, whether we want it or not. Doesn’t matter if you stop doing your best at work, start having feelings for someone new or if you just this time decide to take another way home. Change will always be there, affecting you more than you’ll ever know in ways you can never understand.

The best thing to do? Give in to it and grasp the fact that you will never be who you once were.

Loneliness – that little bitch

Loneliness is definitely not your friend. Everyone’s felt it, haven’t you? No matter how or where, no matter if you’re alone or around hundreds of people, sometimes you just can’t help it. Even if you know for a fact when things go to hell there wil always be someone by your side. But does that mean you can’t feel lonely?

Dont you just hate it when you can truthfully say “I’ve never felt more alone”? Because it’s not about who will help you when things get rough, it’s about who gets you. And on some occasions, that’s basically noone. God knows i’m not the optimistic kind, but since being lonely does happen to me from time to time, even now, I guess the best advice would be to “think about the future”. But what happens if I can’t even give myself that same advice? I wouldn’t want to be bitter, but when most of your friends and people you care about are thousands of miles away and you have problems at home it’s not exactly a piece of cake. Well, maybe I should just give myself a slap on the wrist and as one of my best friends REALLY likes to say “think positive”.

It’s just a bit confusing and it really messes with your head, doesn’t it? Hence the more-than-obvious title of this creation.

To all the lost souls out there: don’t give up – there’s always hope

I know after reading this sentence you started thinking about what’s wrong in your life – lack of money, lack of love, lack of friends, lack of motivation,  sickness, too much intrigue… But in this case I’m talking about love.

Pure, crystal clear, can’t-stop-thinking-about-him\her love. I doubt that there are still people on this planet who haven’t been in love – even kids fall in love all the time. Isn’t the feeling amazing?

I guess I’m writing this to let the people who feel like they got the short end of the stick know that there is still hope. That there is always hope. I mean, I should know. I had almost lost hope when it found me again. So, Even if you’re lonely, occasionally staring at the ceiling when you feel like the third wheel just to make a point, being jealous of all of your friends who have that special someone…You know what the good thing about all this is? At that exact moment, somewhere out there, someone else is thinking the same thing. Having the same fears and believing in the same miracles.

I know what you’re thinking. You’ve maybe seen One Tree Hill and in your head you’re like: “6 billion people in the world and sometimes all you need is one…but how the hell am I supposed to find him?!”

Well, firstly, now there are over 7 billion people in the world (I’m not good at reassuring people, I know), and secondly – do you really believe there is only ONE person meant for you? No, because you make your own path in life and depending on which way you choose to go, there is always the possibility of meeting that amazing perfect-for-you person who shares all of your feelings and desires. And if he doesn’t – maybe he will start sharing them after getting to know you better. So….

Just believe.

What is Happenning in Istanbul?

I’m with you! You deserve justice, I hope you get it…you’re definitely doing a nobel thing, standing up for what you believe in!

İnsanlık Hali

To my friends who live outside of Turkey:

I am writing to let you know what is going on in Istanbul for the last five days. I personally have to write this because at the time of my writing most of the media sources are shut down by the government and the word of mouth and the internet are the only ways left for us to explain ourselves and call for help and support.

Last week of May 2013 a group of people most of whom did not belong to any specific organization or ideology got together in Istanbul’s Gezi Park. Among them there were many of my friends and yoga students. Their reason was simple: To prevent and protest the upcoming demolishing of the park for the sake of building yet another shopping mall at very center of the city. There are numerous shopping malls in Istanbul, at least…
